Rocky Mountain National Park to be designated wilderness

Well, the hopes and prayers of the AK-47-toting hunting nuts are about to be dashed - the Omnibus Public Land Management bill has been approved by both the House and the Senate. Now it just needs the President's signature and all of Muskrat's disingenuous lying and posturing will finally be for naught.

Allard and Pombo can howl till dawn for all I care, they didn't give a damn about our state's most important natural treasure and would have had Fall River Road lined with condos and burger joints.

Here's to the folks that kept this bill alive and fought it to the finish.

Kudos to Markey! Nice start to an historic term.

Hat tip to Stygius at SquareState! Go Stygy!!
