The Truth is Out

Those zanes over at Camp Jinx have busted this story wide open - watch this expose and you'll realize just how bad it really is.

Gives fairy tales a whole new meaning. :)

Thanks for the laugh, Doug.

I've watched that Christmas show innumerable times over the years and I admit I never saw Santa's bias. Guess I was taken in by the whole 'North Pole' jingo. (giggle) Just shows how creative editing can change any story.

Frankly, I've never liked any of those Rankin-Bass Christmas shows. Cheap and cheesy. This only adds veracity to my stance. The song, too, has always been a bit unAmerican, what with its title concerning a somewhat too personal statement about the superiority of a Communist Russian meteorologist: Rudolph, the Red, knows rain, Dear. I mean, who are they trying to kid? So Santa Clausical bias comes as no surprise. Keep the kids away from the TV.
